MINNEAPOLIS, June 3, 2024 – Justin Jefferson, the Minnesota Vikings' star wide receiver, has agreed to a four-year contract extension worth up to $140 million, including $110 million guaranteed, according to multiple sources. The deal sets a new record for wide receiver contracts in the NFL.
Jefferson, who has emerged as one of the most dominant receivers in the NFL since being drafted by the Vikings in 2020, was entering the final year of his rookie contract. Negotiations between Jefferson and the Vikings had been ongoing for more than a year, and the team had placed the franchise tag on him before the new extension was reached.
