Green Day Fan Joins Band On Stage at Osheaga

Sandrine Touzin's Dream Comes True

On day two of Montreal's Osheaga Music and Arts Festival, Green Day fulfilled expectations and delivered much more throughout their two-hour set. But for one fan, the experience was truly unforgettable.

Sandrine Touzin, a longtime Green Day fan, was invited on stage by the band during their performance of "Basket Case." Touzin, who was in the crowd, was stunned when frontman Billie Joe Armstrong pointed her out and asked her to join them.

"I couldn't believe it," Touzin said. "I've been a fan of Green Day for years, and I never thought I'd get to meet them, let alone play with them on stage." Touzin, who plays guitar, performed the song flawlessly alongside Armstrong and the rest of the band.

"It was the best experience of my life," she said. "I'll never forget it." Green Day's performance was one of the highlights of the festival, and Touzin's story is a perfect example of how music can bring people together.
